Entrepreneurship & Economic Empowerment
Cultivating a Generation of Job Creators
Across Kenya and much of Africa, thousands of young people complete their education each year with aspirations for a brighter future. Yet many enter a labor market that cannot absorb the growing number of graduates. While formal education provides valuable knowledge, it often places greater emphasis on preparing learners for employment than on equipping them to create opportunities for themselves and others.

ME2 Foundation believes entrepreneurship is more than a career choice.it is a mindset. That mindset should be nurtured alongside formal education, enabling young people to recognize opportunities, solve real-world challenges, and develop the confidence to build sustainable livelihoods.
Through our Start Small Initiative, we help students and young people shift their thinking from “Where will I find a job?” to “How can I create value?” We encourage them to identify their talents, utilize the resources already available around them, and begin with what they have, rather than waiting for significant capital, perfect facilities, or ideal circumstances.
Our approach is practical, progressive, and relationship-driven. We walk alongside aspiring entrepreneurs from the earliest stages of idea development through business planning, mentorship, skills development, market linkages, and enterprise growth. As businesses mature, we continue providing guidance until they become sustainable and capable of creating opportunities for others.
Recognizing that access to capital remains a challenge for many young entrepreneurs, ME2 Foundation works with corporate partners, development organizations, philanthropists, and individual supporters to mobilize seed funding and startup support for promising ventures that demonstrate commitment, innovation, and growth potential.
By investing in people before businesses, we are cultivating a generation of ethical entrepreneurs who create employment, strengthen local economies, and contribute to thriving communities.
